Wright-Way Painting is an Indigenous-owned and operated painting business proudly based in Queensland, delivering high-quality internal and external painting services for residential, commercial, and government projects. Founded in 2021 by Joshua Wright — a qualified painter with over 20 years’ experience — we bring both technical expertise and deep cultural values to every job. We offer a complete range of painting services including repaints, new builds, protective coatings, heritage restorations, and maintenance programs. Our team understands the importance of surface preparation, product selection, and environmental conditions to ensure long-lasting, high-performing finishes. We specialise in using Haymes Paint products and have a strong track record of delivering work that meets or exceeds Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 2311 for painting of buildings. Our company is 80% Indigenous-staffed, representing communities from across Queensland. We’re passionate about providing real employment pathways, mentoring opportunities, and skills development for First Nations people. This commitment doesn’t just benefit our team — it adds value to projects for clients seeking culturally aligned partnerships, especially those with Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) or Indigenous procurement goals. We’re fully licensed (QBCC 1196854), insured, and trained in WHS practices including working at heights, EWP operation, and safe work methods. With a team that respects deadlines, communicates clearly, and works collaboratively with other trades, we make sure painting is completed to the highest standard — on time and on budget. Whether it’s a residential repaint, large commercial complex, school upgrade, or government facility, Wright-Way Painting delivers results with pride, precision, and purpose. We’re not just painters — we’re partners in your project.
