What you get
Certainty. The standing you see is the standing the platform holds at that moment, ordered by a process no listing can buy its way up.
What you never hold
The member's record. Identity data stays with FND and the member's Nation. You reference it when you need it, and you re-reference when you need it again.
Why this matters in procurement
A verification signal answers the question procurement actually asks: does this business hold verified Indigenous standing, and who says so? On FNDOS the answer is structural. Verified means the claim was checked. Nation Endorsed means the Nation itself has spoken. Sovereign Certified means the Nation governance pathway has certified it, with FND providing the evidence and assurance process behind that decision.
External markers can appear on a listing where a business holds them: Supply Nation certification, ORIC registration under the CATSI Act, or an IBA relationship. They are context, not standing. Standing on FNDOS is a separate thing, held between a person, their Nation, and FND's own process, and it is the thing the signal certifies.
Becoming a partner

Sponsorship is a different thing
Verification partnership gives you certainty about standing. Sponsorship funds the platform's programs and earns recognition. The two never mix: sponsorship cannot buy a signal, a level, or a place in the directory. Support the platform's programs.
